    Corporate Partnership Conference: Strategy and Best Practice of Cause Partnerships

    Impakt is pleased to be a speaker in the upcoming Corporate Partnership Conference (CPC) this May 14th in Toronto. CPC brings together experts in the Corporate Partnership sector from all across Canada to discuss how charities and brands work together to expand each other’s missions. Cause sponsorship is a $2 billion/year industry in Canada and is only growing, as stated by Chris Baylis, President and CEO of The Sponsorship Collective. The potential for corporate partnerships is immense. Now is the perfect time to share knowledge and best practices on this important topic.


    This year’s impressive list of speakers come from across the Corporate Partnership spectrum, offering a diverse range of perspectives on the topic. Our CEO and Founder, Paul Klein, will consider how corporations can move past ineffectual CSR strategies to become social change leaders. Specifically, the new role of business in society, monetizing social change, and the status of corporate partnerships today.


    Some highlights include Mark Hierlihy, President and CEO of Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundation, who will speak about marketing strategy for cause partnerships, and how to effectively communicate a cause message with simplicity and high impact. Bryan de Lottinville, Founder and CEO of Benevity Inc, will discuss an extensive study that analyzed behaviour of over 2M employees from 118 companies, to prove the incredible business value of employee-centric CSR programs. Shelley Mayer, President and CEO of Ramp Communications and Shannon Gorman, National Director of Community Affairs at Telus, will discuss the mutual benefits of partnerships, including leveraging all of the potential resources from a corporate partner, and the business advantage of strategic charitable partnerships.


    The conference will also provide case studies, and workshops on the following day. For anybody that is involved in corporate partnerships in any capacity, this event is imperative.
