Elizabeth has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business focused on sustainability, social impact, and international development. She has experience building cooperative alliances across-sectors for positive impact nationally and internationally, and developing CSR strategies and projects in the private sector. At BASF, she led the way for engaging with different stakeholders. She also promoted activities for cultural awareness, gender equality and other social responsibility topics that would help position the company as a thought leader in sustainability in Canada. She has done extensive academic reviews on corporate citizenship and empirical research to develop strategies and policies for engaging with indigenous communities. She recently volunteered as strategy advisor and external relations manager at the Latin American Leadership Academy in Colombia, contributing to the social transformation of the region from an NGO perspective.

Sam has an MBA from the Rotman School of Management where he blended business design, entrepreneurship, and social impact. His student founded social enterprise, Moto, turned discarded coffee grounds into an alternative energy source for refugees in sub-Saharan Africa and ended up with the UNHCR. Other recent projects of his include re-imagining financial services for Canada’s under-banked population for Scotiabank, and improving in-store service experiences for people with cognitive disabilities for TELUS. Prior to his MBA, Sam worked for Camp Oochigeas, designing and delivering enriching activities for children affected by cancer. Sam holds additional degrees in international development and environmental sustainability. His previous Impakt clients include the YMCA of Greater Toronto, 3M, Sanofi, Power to Be and Shaw Communications.

With a background in the arts, she designed and coordinated diverse artist-led projects for disenfranchised communities across the globe, including India and Nunavut. Stevie is unremittingly data-driven and passionate about creating sustainable social impact through research and technology. Equal parts scientist and business leader, Dr. Yap has a strong background in scientific research and has consulted for numerous organizations across a variety of industries. Most recently, he served as Chief Science Officer at HireUp, where he led the organization’s R&D and worked towards creating innovative technologies that connect employers to job seekers facing significant barriers to work. He is an expert on personality, psychological well-being, and mental health. Dr. Yap’s research appears in leading scientific journals and he holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters and PhD from Michigan State University.

Most recently, she served as Head of Data Science at HireUp, a technology company aimed at connecting employers to job seekers facing significant barriers to work. A strong proponent of data-driven decision making, Ivana is passionate about using data for social good and helping organizations create lasting impact in their communities. Dr. Anusic holds a degree in Math from the University of Waterloo, two degrees in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a PhD from Michigan State University.
